Fan injured by hot dog at Royals game has case in Missouri Supreme Court

This fan might get a few bucks if he's lucky, but he'll never get his dignity back

Somehow, his case has made it to the Missouri Supreme Court, and the state's highest court is ruling on whether or not the team can be held responsible for his injuries.

If he were hit by a baseball, he'd have no case at all. But since hot dogs aren't technically part of the game, he might have a leg to stand on.

Still, if this happened to me, I'm not sure I'd be able to bear the shame of taking this case to court, particularly the State Supreme Court.

Even if he gets the significant settlement he's looking for, this man will never be able to buy back his dignity.

The moral of the story: Pay attention. If something hits you in the eye, you're probably doing something wrong.

Hah! Taken out of context, that's my favorite sentence of the day.

Also...why would you not be paying attention to what's going on around you at a baseball game!? Idiot.
