For the last 2+ years I've had the rather absurd job of attempting to entertain you each and every day through sports news, videos and anecdotes of my own personal misery as a Cubs fan. It's been a blast, but it's with a great deal of sadness and excitement that I wanted to share I'll be moving on to a new opportunity at the end of this week. I'm certainly going to miss monitoring the sports landscape 24/7, but I also look forward to returning to being a slightly more normal sports fan. Now I'll be like a lot of you, wasting valuable company work hours searching the blogosphere for the latest player arrest and coaching debacle.
Two and half years ago, our founder Ty reached out to me to help with building this grand idea he had for a sports community. For those of you who were around at the very beginning, I'm sure you share in my amazement at how far FanIQ has come. The good news is there's still a lot to come and I look forward to watching it develop. The people at FanIQ work very hard and one thing you should know is they definitely listen to you. This is your site after all.
So while I'd love to single out all the great people I've met through this site, the last thing I want to do is make this sappy in the least. I'll still be around from time to time, so this isn't a goodbye or anything. I do plan to continue blogging on my own personal site in a few weeks and you can find that address on my profile page in due time.
It's been fun to have been a part of your procrastination for the last two years. Cheers!
Why is there a Marisa Miller picture here, you may be asking? Why not. And naturally, you'll get a few Rachel Bilson pics before my time here is done.

. And it's been a pleasure reading your blogs for the past 18 months.....Best of luck.
