Do the Chiefs stay unbeaten against the Broncos? [FanIQ GameDay Live]
N.Y. Jets at Buffalo
Teach: Jets...the coach amuses me and nothing about Buffalo does anything for me.
Eric: I'm tired of the "hee hee the Jets alternate wins and losses" thing, so I'm picking the Jets to end that streak today.
Baltimore at Chicago
Teach: Chicago...Flacco was my QB in FF once, I'm still bitter.
Eric: The whole Ravens offense has been terrible, both Flacco and the ghost of whatever happened to Ray Rice. The thing that makes me bitter though is the Bears having success with Josh McCown. Bears *grumble grumble*
Cleveland at Cincinnati
Teach: Bengals....no reason.
Eric: OK, Bengals, can you get it together now? You're letting the Ravens, the Browns (quarterbacked by Jason Campbell), and worst of all, the Steelers back in it. Restore order please.
Washington at Philadelphia
Eric: The two big questions with the Eagles are "When will they win a home game?" and "Is Nick Foles a fluke?" Thanks to getting to play the terrible Washington defense, the answers are "today" and "maybe, but not yet."
Detroit at Pittsburgh
Teach: Ugh. I'll go with Detroit because ....well they are playing Pittsburgh.
Eric: I love that answer because it reminds Steelers fans that guess what, everyone doesn't love you. I'm also picking the Steelers because that's what the NFL does to me.
Atlanta at Tampa Bay
Teach: Falcons. No way would I pick another team. :)
Arizona at Jacksonville
Teach: Jacksonville. Shut up. I hate the Coyotes and the Cards are their cousins.
Eric: People care enough about the Coyotes to hate them? Wow. Anyway, Cardinals because by Football Outsiders DVOA, the Jags right now are the 3rd worst team of the last 20 years.
Oakland at Houston
Teach: I'm going with Oakland. This isn't Houston's year. Better to lose and get a high draft pick.
San Diego at Miami
Teach: San Diego SUPER CHARGERS...SAN DIEGO SuPER CHARGERS....Just say no to bullying.
Eric: Agree, not that the Dolphins players and organization seem to. Chargers benefit from Miami's self-inflicted destruction.
San Francisco at New Orleans
Teach: Saints. I hate San Francisco teams and could never pick one. #socalforever
Eric: The Colin Kaepernick backlash has begun. He hasn't been great, but he hasn't been bad either, but he joins RGIII in having way too high expectations in year 2 that probably couldn't be met. I'm trying to suppress my cynical side that wants to say there's another reason. Also, the Saints will win.
Green Bay at N.Y. Giants
Teach: Giants. Doesn't Green Bay have a million injuries? So, my pick...the Giants.
Eric: To make myself feel better, I've been saying SCOTT TOLZIEN like he's STEVE HOLT. It didn't work. (Pick: Despair followed by apathy)
Minnesota at Seattle
Teach: Seattle....one of the few teams I've actually paid attention to. They win...probably after being down by 17 in the first half.
Eric: Seattle fans are getting annoyed at the flack the team is getting for not blowing out crappy teams (Source: people Jess RT's on Twitter). Well, a sign of a good team is kicking the crap out of the bad ones. The Atlanta game helped though, and this one should too, because Minnesota really really sucks.
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Kansas City at Denver
Teach: I'm going with the Broncos because there is a KC fan I follow on Twitter and he's annoying on game days. A loss will do him good. Final pick ...Denver by 10.
Eric: Quarterbacks the Chiefs have faced this year: Blaine Gabbert, Tony Romo, Michael Vick, Eli Manning, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Terrell Pryor, Case Keenum, Jason Campbell, Jeff Tuel. The Chiefs defense is good, but there's a reason why people are hesitant. Even a hobbled Peyton Manning is better that most of that group, so Broncos.
Also, if I'm not more annoying on Twitter on IndyCar race days, then I've failed.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
New England at Carolina
Teach: I'm going with Carolina...just because.
Eric: Sure why not. That Carolina defense is nasty.
Thanks Teach for your input. Everyone else, Q it up here throughout Week 11.
