Blog Photo - FanIQ GameDay Live: Week 16Hello everyone and welcome to Week 16 of the NFL season. It's playoff push time and we've gotten mostly lucky with the schedule. It's given us a bunch of big and important matchups. It's also given us some dogs, but we know what is done about those. Our guest today is cubsgirl, aka Glenda. Glenda is most known around here as a Cubs fan (obviously), but she does like football too. Let's get to this.

EARLY GAMES

Miami at Buffalo

Glenda: Dolphins on a 3 week winning streak I see them playing hard for their first playoff berth in five years.

Eric: I'm not thrilled with Team Bully (Remember that? Damn the NFL is good at sweeping crap under the rug.) having such a chance at the playoffs. However, this game is blacked out in Buffalo, which shows you what things are like for the Bills right now, so the Dolphins are the pick.

New Orleans at Carolina

Glenda: To me this game is screaming Drew Brees. It was a no brainer didn't hesitate to pick game.

Eric: The Saints were terrible last week and have obvious road problems, but I'm picking them anyway based on these teams first meeting, which was in New Orleans. That probably doesn't make sense and will bite me, but oh well.

Minnesota at Cincinnati

Glenda: Vikings away record coupled with the Bengals home record is reason enough to pick the Bengals.

Eric: The Bengals are eventually going to realize they haven't won the AFC North yet, right?

Denver at Houston

Glenda: Broncos, enough said. I just hope it's not too terribly humiliating for the Texans.

Eric: It will probably be humiliating for the Texans. Denver easily.

Tennessee at Jacksonville

Glenda: Titans have just played some really good ball lately, getting huge plays when needed. Don't see the Jaguars being able to stop that momentum.

Eric: Woof. (Pick: Jacksonville)

Indianapolis at Kansas City

Glenda: My pick for game of the week. Cant wait to watch it. Chiefs over Colts.

Eric: The Colts are playing awful lately, so Chiefs.

Dallas at Washington

Glenda: Washington in my upset game of the week. Just have no faith in Romo not swallowing the football instead of passing it.

Eric: I attempted to pick this game, but drowned in all the #HotSportsTakes these two teams generate.

Cleveland at N.Y. Jets

Glenda: It's hard to bounce back from 6 losses so late in a season. I dont see the Browns being able to.

Eric: Woof. (Pick: New York tabloids)

Tampa Bay at St. Louis

Glenda: Bucs have no offense whatsoever. The Rams defense will control this game.

Eric: Rams because they're at home and we need to halt any calls for Schiano to come back at the pass.

LATE GAMES

Arizona at Seattle

Glenda: Really? I'm impressed the Cardinals are going to even show up. This one will be ugly.

Eric: The Cardinals are arguably the 5th best team in the NFC, but need to win road games in Seattle and San Francisco to make the playoffs, and even that doesn't guarantee them anything. Thanks NFC East and North for sucking! Also, Seahawks, as they play to not leave Seattle potentially until the Super Bowl.

N.Y. Giants at Detroit

Glenda: Lions over Giants. *hope to god i'm wrong on that one* This is pure emotion driven. I just want the Lions to lose.

Eric: I'm picking the Lions because I don't have the stones not to, although the meltdown potential is high here. Of course, the meltdown potential has already been realized with Eli.

New England at Baltimore

Glenda: Ravens are tough at home. I think it is going to be a great game. gotta go with the Pats though. call it a hunch.

Eric: Can we just skip to the final minute of the game and the Tom Brady drive? You know it's going to come to that. As such, I flipped a coin and the result means I'm taking the Pats.

Oakland at San Diego

Glenda: Raiders have just not been able to pull their team together. I think the Chargers will dominate this game.

Eric: Chargers easy in the game you'll forget is still going on this evening.

Pittsburgh at Green Bay

Glenda: Rodgers or no Rodgers, Big Ben is back. I see it being a big win for the Steelers.

Eric: So, let's review here. The Packers pulled off a miracle win last week against a team I despise. This week they are playing a team I despise even more. It's a late game so I'll have a few beers in me by kickoff. If they win, they play their biggest rival for the division title. This game is going to make me mad in some way, and I'm just hoping to not have a social media meltdown. (Pick: Packers, obviously)

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Chicago at Philadelphia

Glenda: Da Bears! (really you did not expect differently did you)

Eric: The Esquire Network is showing Parks and Recreation from 8-10 tonight. That'll work. (Pick: Eagles)

Thanks Glenda! As for the rest of you, Q it up here throughout Week 16.

Looks like Packers/Bears for the NFC North and Eagles/Cowboys for the NFC East.

I can't believe this Eagle defense is the same one that Matt Cassel and the Vikings torched for 48 points last week

I'm hurting so bad over my Packers, but the Eagles whooping on the Bears is easing the pain a little..

I expect the Lions to fire Jim Schwartz when the season is over...  Lions proved that all the talent in the world means nothing.  When Calvin Johnson is unhealthy or not having a great game, the Lions are too vulnerable...  Just think about it, Aaron Rodgers has been sidelined for more than 5 games, the bears went through some injuries themselves and the Lions just can't take advantage of ruling the NFC North.  What's even sad is that da bears got swept by the Lions this season...  I feel for the Lions fans and they have every right to be pi**ed off at the collapse...

I hate Pittsburgh so much. Right now I kind of hate Green Bay too.

San Diego beat Dallas, Philadelphia, Denver, Indy, and KC in order for the bolts to remain in the playoff hunt...  Quality wins if you ask me...

If the Chargers win their last 2 games and both Miami and Baltimore lose their remaining games, the Chargers get the last spot. Dolphins do need the Ravens to lose twice and win to get in

Panthers hold on and beat the Saints.  Carolina headed back to the playoffs but have a chance to clinch the NFC South with a win next week in Atlanta

Touche... Tony Romo might have just saved Jason Garrett's job with that last second touchdown pass

Hard to believe that Peyton Manning is 37 years old.  He's on pace to have the single greatest season ever as a quarterback

No Tavon Austin.  No problem.

Rams run the double reverse and the other West Virginia WR, Stedman Bailey, takes it to the house for his 1st NFL touchdown

I wonder what the over/under is for how many Christmas present giving references we hear every time somebody commits a turnover?
