I've got a convoy of picks coming your way throughout the night, so grab a cold one and get ready for some mock draft action. I know that's what I'm doing.
It is widely rumored that the Knicks have their eye on Wilson Chandler or Sean Williams, but in this Mock Draft both are gone.
While the Knicks will be hoping to get a solid defensive forward, with their top 2 options gone, they will try to fill one of their many other needs.
Three players have fallen a bit in this mock draft, at least based on some of the other draft boards out there. Those three players are Javaris Crittenton, Rodney Stuckey and Rudy Fernandez.
While the Knicks could definitely use point guards and shooting guards who aren't massively overpaid and/or injury-prone, I see a shooter being the choice. That's why I'm going with Rodney Stuckey as the pick. I chose Stuckey over Fernandez because Isiah Thomas is known to not be big on foreign players and I don't want to subject Rudy to that because he hasn't done anything to deserve it. As far as Crittenton, when I was looking at who NBADraft.net compares him to, they had Steve Francis listed. They already have one Steve Francis, they don't need another.
The pick: Rodney Stuckey, SG, Eastern Washington
Up next is the good-looking and intelligent GM Jon with the Suns
Who would you take for the New York Knicks?
