Who was your favorite athlete growing up?Tino Martinez, which actually brings up a weird story. I used to be a Yankees fan because my dad was and he was a HUGE baseball fan, so he kind of turned me into one. But once I was able to make a decision for myself (around 8 years old) I became BOTH a Mets fan and Yankees fan because my mom was a Mets fan, but shortly after that I became a full-fledged Metropolitan. I still liked Tino (what ever happened to his role on "Baseball Tonight"?) because he is quite simply the man. I also liked Adam Graves, Theo Fleury (the crazy guy), and Micheal Strahan
What’s your most cherished sports memory?
Hah. Playing sports, that would be the goal I scored off of my ass in the semi-finals of a tournament on my travel soccer team. I usually play defense but for some reason I was up front and I just went to the net and my teammate shot it towards me and I deflected it off, well, my backside. It was the only goal I ever scored, and it was awesome.
Watching pro sports it would probably be the Giants winning the Super Bowl two years ago, and I can't really remember the Rangers Cup win as I was only 5, but I kind of remember the parade after in NYC.
