The Tigers won't have enough, going into the Dome today...Twins beat Verlander and the Tigers to pull within 2 games of first place!! GO TWINS!! 

No, Tigers are doing exactly what I need...but I can't get my Twins to WAKE UP!! 

YES!!  They woke up!!  Last night's shutout win was incredible, and now we can smell first place!!  GO TWINS!!

Paul Maholm pitched a decent game for the first time since about the beginning of May.  The Pirates won 2-1 to avoid being swept.  That was their 1 win for this week.

Well, it did the trick!!  Joe(yummy)Mauer got three hits, one a HR(his 27th), and the Twins won, 8-0...Tigers won as well, but we had chances that we didn't take advantage of this week.  Running out of time, though...at least Vikings won, 34-20!! 

Not mine it was on the gator last weekend?I decided to let gator have it .And went topless the rest of the weekend.This time I'm in a one but barly there piece!! LOL

That works...I went straight past chocolate to alcohol!!    On the other hand, the new Gophers stadium is immaculate...50,000 seats, and not a bad one in the house...on a late summer night, you can see the sun setting into the Minneapolis skyline!!  The Gophers come-from-behind 20-13 win was icing on the cake!!
Going to the Dome today to watch the Twins...maybe that will change their luck...GO TWINS!!

Bryan, I watched the race and turned back to baseball once in awhile. After Wolverines won, the day was good no matter what Tigers did.

Horrible and rediculous loss today for SPARTY. Loses at home to Cent Michigan 29-27. CMU scored with just over 30 seconds left in game to make the score 27-26 but went for the win and failed on the 2 pt conversion. On the ensuing kickoff, CMU onside kicks and recovers and runs untouched 35 yrds straight down the sideline to put them in FG range. First game-winning FG was short and wide BUT MSU called for offsides. CMU gets to try again and the second FG is GOOD. BAD, BAD loss for SPARTY. How embarrassing.
