A few things I've noticed:
Fantasy Challenges.
Last night I was trying to challenge a friend to a fantasy game this weekend, and they were trying to do the same. Problem was, neither of us could figure out how to respond to or even see the challenge.
So I sent one to someone else, and this morning when I checked they had confirmed this. I asked how she did this and she said she responded to the email she got regarding the challenge.
What email? Well, I checked my profile settings regarding mail. Apparently, since I had checked the box "Do not send me email", the fantasy challenges are not being sent to me. So you might want to check that in your "edit profile/account settings" portion of your profile.
Second, I noticed that the challenges are head to head (meaning 2 people, you and one other). I might be wrong in this but maybe someone can clarify in the comments section.
Third, the challenge costs $250 qbucks per person, or $500 total. Winner gets $400. So, this answers the question about how faniq will generate revenue. Good idea guys. 20% is a good profit margin.
By the way, I hope they do more fantasy games. I don't follow NFL, so I'm going to lose interest really fast....
Gifts
Some of those bad boys are expensive. $1 real dollar = $1,000 qbucks. Kind of like the conversion of Shrute bucks to Stanley nickels... Anyway, so a rose is $10,000q is $10 american. Wow, that's a pricey rose.
So if you want to impress someone, send them 6 stadium beers and get them drunk. Then give them a dandylion. They'll be more impressed than if you send them a rose, and for much less ($2,000q vs. $10,000q).
I received a stadium beer from 'anonymous' this morning, so it's nice to see they are still coming up with ways to stalk each other...
Also, I found out that if you select 'private', that only pertains to the message, not the gift. Unless you send the gift anonymously, the entire q nation can see who sent what gift to whom. Which is fine, unless you're trying to be discreet. I wouldn't want everyone to see that I sent kteacher a pile of poo.... That should be between the two of us.

Accolades
No sense in beating a dying horse, since there are countless polls already about this. I get the respect thing, and the reason for limiting them.
I will say that I hope the message is being heard at faniq hq. The social fabric of this site is largely dependent on the locker room. And the locker room is very dependent on accolades. So I'm afraid if the LR dies, so will the great social element of this site. And no, I'm not going to facebook, I like it here thanks.
Speed and ease of use
Obviously, more can be done in both of these areas, but I must say the site seems to be running smoothly. Much quicker too.
Profile pages
I like the new look of the profile page. Especially how the rankings are right there. It would be nice to know how I got to be the number 2 fan of the Huskers though. Is there a way to see how points are being attributed to a particular team? I'd be nice, then I could go do that activity some more to increase my rankings. (notice I tagged this "Nebraska Cornhuskers", does this mean points go toward them?)
So what are you noticing? Did you struggle with anything and figure it out, what was the solution? Post here what you've learned. You'll help the rest of us too.
I hope everyone enjoys Season 2, as an 11 month user of season 1 I must say it's a challenge to accept, but I'm liking what I see so far.
