Fantasy Football Friday: Steven Jackson to Return
READ MORE:
I'd have had this up sooner, but one of you fine fellows sent me a link to the Girls of MSU. Anywho, biggest news of the week for fantasy (football) owners is that Steven Jackson, who went so far as to say he'd be the top fantasy performer this season, is going to get back into the fold for St. Louis. I doubt he can make up for his damage in one week, but if there was a team he could do it against the Browns are a good option.

Other injury news likely to change between now and Sunday: Frank Gore, but isn't he always some form of questionable with the amount of carries he's forced to endure. Travis Henry hasn't practiced all week (busy making babies) but I'd bet he ends up starting as well. Maurice Jones-Drew dazzled his owners for just a week, now he's back to the being a game-time decision. Lastly, an FYI for Adrian Peterson owners, Chester Taylor is banged up again and if he plays he won't get nearly the amount of carries as he did last Sunday. Vince Young will start, but hopefully not on your fantasy team. Marvin Harrison hasn't practice all week, but I assume he'll play. I plan on starting him.

Feel free to add onto this thread the rest of the weekend with any updated info you'd care to share.

Who's your fantasy sleeper of the week? What are your big sit/start decisions? We're here to help.

Alright the banged up Chester Taylor lets me know that AD is the one that needs to start with LDT. Damn those yahoo leagues and only two starting rb's.

Here's a start'em/sit'em quandry for ya.  Favre or Cutler?

I'm leaning towards Favre since the Bailey/Bly death to QB duo probably won't be playing this weekend, so if there was a time to play a QB against Denver...now would be the time.  Also they're coming off the bye which can't hurt.  But Cutler put up some good numbers against a great Pitt defense last week, and the Packers aren't as good against the pass as they are against the run.  With Henry banged up, this could be another big game for Cutler.  Like I said, right now I'm leaning towards Favre, anybody have some info to steer this the other way?
