Fasten Your Seatbelts; You’re about to hear A LOT about the NFC East

Which one will come out as Division Champ? It has been pretty obvious that the worst division in football all year has been the NFC East. Through 10 weeks of the 2013 season, not once has all four NFC East teams walked off the field with a win.  But with six intra-division games in the next 6 weeks, this division is still up for grabs…and as we get closer and closer to the playoffs, it will be all over the news.

Almost every week there has been a primetime game involving the Eagles, Giants, Cowboys or Redskins. Simply put, that’s where a lot of the money comes from in the league. Four of the biggest fanbases in sports are in this division. Don’t be surprised if the last game of the year week 17 is an 8:20 kickoff between Philadelphia and Dallas, making the division title game the 3rd year in a row the last game of the regular season. No matter what the record is, there will be more coverage of this division winner than other close races such as the NFC North, South or the AFC wildcard race.
So what can the headlines be when we all wake up 6 weeks from now? Will it be?
-How ‘bout em?!?! Cowboys finally get over hump and beat Eagles to win division!
-Foles Gold!!! Backup turned franchise QB, rookie coach Kelly win in Jerryworld to clinch NFC East
-Hail Again! Another weak start to season leads to a repeat for skins!
-Do you believe In Miracles?!?! Giants complete comeback after 0-6 start!
(Yes, the Giants are still in this too)
But with an injured Sean Lee for Dallas, Inconsistent play from Philly, weak defense from Washington, and huge hole to climb for New York, any one of these teams can sink right back down to the division basement.  We don’t know who will punch their ticket to play San Francisco, Carolina or Chicago in a wildcard game, but we do know that its going to be close, and every angle is going to be speculated on a national scale.
