Sir Alex Ferguson wants to cut his losses with Nani to inject new blood in Manchester United. The Scotsman is believed to be raising funds for Porto winger James Rodriguez and Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama.
The Old Trafford boss will sanction the sale of Portuguese winger Nani as soon as the January transfer window opens. The Manchester United manager has grown tired off the out of form Portugal international.
Manchester United brought Nani into the transfer market last summer, but no clubs were willing to agree to the transfer fees. Juventus came closest to signing Nani, but the negotiations fell apart when Manchester United refused to lower down the transfer fees.
However, this fall Manchester United are ready to sell Nani at a cut-price deal. Clubs insiders report Manchester United could load off the 26-year-old for as little as £20 million.
The Colombian star James Rodriguez and the Kenyan powerhouse Victory Wanyama have been linked to Manchester United for a while now. Chelsea were eager to sign in James Rodriguez, but due to their recent slump in form the youngster will opt for a move to Manchester United. Meanwhile, rumors suggest Victor Wanyama and Manchester United have agreed upon the personal terms of his transfer move.
Arsenal has been eyeing Nani with great interest over the past few weeks. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be plotting a transfer move for Nani as he Theo Walcott has threatened to leave the club this fall.
Nani could become the third player involved in a transfer move between Manchester United and Arsenal in five years. In recent years Mikael Silvestre and Robin Van Persie have broken the walls of negotiation between the old enemies.
This week Nani was spotted at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground. Nani’s appearance in an Arsenal owned vicinity increased the speculation of his move to North London. Serie A giants Juventus and French football powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing Nani.
