The final injury report (returning and sidelined players) for teams that were pitted against each other in a Sunday matchup is as follows:

Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis returned to the lineup Sunday in the highly anticipated rivalry matchup against the New England Patriots, who were without tight end Aaron Hernandez as well as guards Dan Connolly and Logan Mankins.

New Orleans Saints punt running back and punt returner Darren Sproles remained sidelined from the broken hand during the road game against Oakland Raiders.

Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil returned from shoulder injury and was listed active against the San Diego Chargers, but guard Chris Kuper sat out with an ankle injury. San Diego Chargers tailback Ryan Mathews was also listed active after returning from neck injury.

Green Bay Packers have been missing key reliable players (Clay Mathews, Greg Jennings and Charles Woodson) so wideout Jordy Nelson’s return form hamstring/foot injury was a welcome addition.

St. Louis Rams rookies: cornerback Janoris Jenkins and Chris Givens played significant roles against the New York Jets after returning from being benched in Week 10 for violating team policies.

Houston Rockets tight end Owen Daniels also made a return to the lineup after sitting out last week with a back injury. Their competition Sunday night, the Jacksonville Jaguars are still without Pro-Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew.

Washington Redskins strong safety Brandon Meriweather returned from a preseason knee injury to make an immediate impact starting against the Philadelphia Eagles. Washington Redskins wideout Pierre Garcon was also listed active for the game.  However, the Philadelphia Eagles were still missing No.1 quarterback Michael Vick.

Atlanta Falcons wideout Julio Jones (ankle) and tailback Michael Turner were listed active against the Arizona Cardinals after spending a while under the questionable status. However, the Atlanta Falcons were still missing linebacker Sean Weatherspoon for a third consecutive game. The Arizona Cardinals too had their starting lineup shuffled without backup quarterback Kevin Kolb and defensive end Calais Campbell (calf).

Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden was listed out against Dallas Cowboys after injuring abdominal muscles during midweek practice. Dallas Cowboys tailback DeMarco Murray, who was previously listed as doubtful was declared out of the mix ahead of the game as well.
