Debi's stuck at work, so I figured I'd go ahead and put this up. NASCAR fans, don't say I never did anything for you.

Today's race is at Bristol Motor Speedway, arguably the most famous track for stock car racing outside of Daytona. It's a short track, which is normally where the best stock car racing occurs. Plus, we've had two weeks for this Keselowski/Edwards thing to fester, so there's that. Except lots of crumpled sheet medal today.

On the pole for today's race is....(looks it up) Joey Logano. Other notables include:

Kurt Busch: 2nd
Jimmie Johnson: 4th
Jeff Gordon: 5th
Juan Pablo Montoya: 6th
Carl Edwards: 8th
Tony Stewart: 11th
Dale Earnhardt, Jr.: 18th
Brad Keselowski: 36th
Kyle Busch: 38th

Chat about the race here as I flee the premises.

I'll admit.  When he first showed up I said he would take both of Kyle's records (youngest pole sitter, youngest race winner), but was starting to wonder if he was going to get the pole sitter one.  My daughter and I had just talked about how he needed to step it up because he only had a few weeks left to get it done during the off week.  Maybe he heard us. LOL

You never know Lori...maybe he did. :) Whatever happened, I'm glad it did.

I know Lori...it kind of got overlooked. I thought that was awesome. It won't be long & Joey is going to be a great contender. Zippy is an awesome Crew Chief and he can teach Joey a lot. I rank Zippy right up there with Knaus. Sure hoping that Kevin finds that golden horseshoe. I know I'm lookin for it too!

He sure is Andi. If kurt keeps up running like he is, hopefully he have the honor of being the one who dethrones JJ. Lol

What no one giving anything to Joey for becoming the youngest ever pole sitter in NASCAR history?

Hey Girl! I've had crap galore including losing my job, having surgery on my jaw, losing my home, and it's still rolling.

Kyle did good today, not great,  so did Jr.   Jimmy  has got something under the hood that nobody else has, just what the secret is i don't know.  i do like the fact that he is a clean driver and drives to these wins without knocking and spinning others out to win.

Gotta agree Andi.  I think it's time people start trying to find that golden horseshoe Harvick was talking about earlier this year.

Top 10 for Kyle.  It's about time something happened with Dave in charge.

ROTFL @ Eric....Good job

I am taking the elder Busch, and Kenseth as my dark horse.

I agree Andi...Kurt's doing a great job again!

I knew this was going to be an interesting race...right now...I'm clueless as to who will win. All I hope is that it's not going to be a JJ show again.  My dark horses are Harvick & Menard. I'm praying that Junior can pull off a top 10 or shock the Nation and win!!
BTW...nice job on the feed!   Once again...I have to wait till midnight to get more respects.
