From The Armchair: New Orleans Saints Week 3
Saints were coming off a really bad performance last week in Tampa Bay so it was great to see them rebound with a solid all around effort. Getting off to such a great start (3-0) is a complete turn around from what happened in the debacle that was last season and the WhoDat Nation is enjoying every minute of it. But even in a 31-7 win we have some negatives to go along with the positives, and a couple things that need to be addressed if we are going to beat the more elite teams in the league. So some of the positive and negatives from this weeks match up .....
The defense continues to show some really solid improvement and was able to establish a solid pass this week, sacking Palmer 7 times. Even with injuries up front and a thin D line, guys are stepping up so far.
Rookie safety Kenny Vaccaro continues to make an impact and is proving to be a solid first round pick by Saints.
Saints passing game under Brees continues to be one of the best in the game!
O-Line Play continues to be sub par and really has done little to help Saints establish a running game. This has lead to way too much pressure on Brees as we have thrown the ball a tad bit too much. It's crucial to be more balanced as the season continues and this O-line has a long way to go to get us there.
The Miami Dolphins are on tap this week as they come on down to the Big Easy and it should be a good one !
