The Cardinals managed to lead by 17 points going into the fourth quarter but then blew it to a tied game that went into overtime. The Titans managed 2 touchdowns and a field goal in the final 6 minutes of the game to tie it up. The Cardinals were able to come back with a field goal after incepting “Fitzmagic” on first OT possession.

Offense & Defense
Palmer completed two-thirds of his passes for 230+ yards and a touchdown with no interceptions, which isn’t quite as good as the previous few games but still better than his seasonal average. Rookie running back Andre Ellington had 14 carries, in which half of them were for 10 yards or more. The Cardinals managed to avoid having any turnovers while Tennessee had 3 throughout the game. Titans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is a Phoenix native, managed to pass for over 400 yards with 4 touchdowns, both a career high for him. Cardinals cornerback Antoine Cason had 2 critical interceptions, including one that was run back for a touchdown and another in overtime that gave possession to the Cardinals, as well as a kickoff recovery that set up a field goal.

Conclusion
This game put the Cardinals at their 9th win of the season, making it officially only their 4th winning season in the 25 years that they have played in Arizona. Next week the Cards will fly to Seattle to take on the division rival and current #1 seed team Seahawks for round 2 of the season.
