FINAL SCORE -
WASHINGTON 45

DA BEARS 41

PLAYERS OFF THE GAME  -
WASHINGTON - TE  J.REED (9 / 134 YDS, 1 TD)
CHICAGO - RB M.FORTE (16 / 91 YDS, 3 TD's)

This was actually a fun game to watch, bias aside.   As I have mentioned in my other weekly posts, the Bears defense is not pulling their weight!  Sure, they get their turnovers, but they do not look good.  Some of you may say that they are beat up. DT H.MELTON is lost for the year.  So is MLB DJ WILLIAMS and sure, we lost Lance Briggs and Peanut Tillman in the second half, but that is why your coaching staff needs to do a great job at figuring out who the backups are.  We have absolutely no pass rush!  Has anyone seen Julius Peppers this season?  smh.

Cutler was sacked and tore his groin on the sack! WTF?!?  McCown did a pretty good job filling in for him, but this is now our starting QB for at least the next 4 weeks or so.  ugh

Rookie TE Jordan Reed had a monster game for Washington, coming up with key catches to keep drives alive.  Alfred Morris ran well and Roy Helu cleaned up all of the drives by scoring 3 separate times.

Brandon Merriweather, who was fined for 2 games, should be banned from the NFL.  Not only did he leave his feat to hit B.Marshall in the head, but he also hit A.Jeffery in the head and he has already done the same thing in week 2 to a GB player, not to mention that he has a long history of these types of hits!  No room in any sport for this crap!  HE'S A THUG!  I digress!

Besides Forte's 3 TD's, the only other solid thing to talk about was D.Hester's 81 yd Punt Return for a TD, which is his 19th career and 1st since 2011 and it tied him with Deion Sanders for the most in NFL history.

Chicago goes into Week 8 having a BYE week and then we play Week 9 vs GB on Monday Night.......I am trying to stay as positive as I can, but without Briggs (lost for 6 weeks with a slight shoulder fracture), Cutler (4 weeks with a torn groin) and possibly Peanut Tillman (left with a knee issue), we are going to need our backups to play out of their mind!

Seems my team has not of yet had the injuries others have. Your Bears made my Skins look decent for a change, so thanks for that.

Injury bug has been one big mutha so far this NFL season. Falcons have been destroyed by it and now the bears take some major hits along with a few other teams like Houston. It may come down to which teams can just stay healthy down stretch. As common place an injures are in football they seem to be happening in clusters this season.
