From the Armchair: Chicago Bears, Week 9
DA BEARS 27
GREEN BAY 20
PLAYERS OF THE GAME
CHICAGO - Shea McClellin (5 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles) / J.McCown (22 / 41 272 yds, 2 TD's)
GREEN BAY - E.Lacy (22 / 150 yds, 1 TD)
Rodgers getting hurt and leaving the game, DEFINITELY helped the BEARS! Word has it that Rodgers could miss up to 3 weeks with a Collarbone injury.
Even with Seneca Wallace in at QB, the BEARS still did not play to stop the run. Lacy is a beast and even Starks ran untouched. Sure, the defense played a little better than they have in the past, but, they are still not even close to being where they should and need to be to compete, come playoff time.
Josh McCown played one hell of a game, filling in for Cutler. The key is, "NO TURNOVERS".
With rumors that Cutler will or wants to play next week against Detroit, I certainly hope that McCown's performance will keep Cutler on the sidelines a little longer. Lets make sure that torn groin is 100% before rushing him back out there.
