From the Armchair: Cleveland Browns week 6
The Battle of the Great Lakes goes to Detroit 31-17.
The Browns offense had a good first half. They rushed for 115 yards, mitigating their handicap at quarterback. The defense limited the Lions running game, and it helped that the Lions receivers had numerous drops. The Browns went into halftime with a 17-7 lead. The Browns ran the ball only four times in the second half, and Brandon Weeden was Brandon Weedon. The offense couldn't stay on the field and the Lions receivers stopped dropping passes. That led to 24 unanswered points by Detroit. If Weeden remains the starting quarterback this is going to be a long season.
