From the Armchair: DA BEARS - Week 10

11/11/13 in NFL   |   Nick__   |   28838 respect

FINAL SCORE
Detroit 21
Chicago 19

Players of the Game
Detroit - C.Johnson (6 / 83 yds, 2 TD's)
Chicago - B.Marshall (7 / 139 yds, 2 TD's)

I am soooooooooooooo sick and tired of people blaming Jay Cutler for Bears losses.  The "so-called" Bears fans that like to post comments about the Bears, are nothing more than fair-weathered, whiny little bitchy "fake" fans that know absolutely NOTHING about Football! And, AGAIN, CUTLER IS NOT A PU**Y!!  Over and over again, he shows how he stays in the game when he is not 100%. RANT OVER!

This was a pretty good game by two average teams.  This was also the first time Detroit swept the Bears since 2007 and with Green Bay losing, Detroit is now the team the beat in the NFC NORTH.

Marc Trestman and the Bears medical staff should have taken Cutler out earlier than at the 2 minute warning of the 4th Quarter.  It was obvious that Jay hurt is other groin, although they keep saying it's his ankle, and by leaving him in there, there were many throws that he made that did not make it to the target....It's hard to push off on a bad groin and ankle.

Some reasons why I think the Bears lost this game:  1) The offensive line did not play well with regards to the Running game. Forte had no holes to run through.  2) 4th and 1 from the Detroit 27 in the first half of a tie game, you KICK THE FG!!  Instead, they went for it and failed!  Always take the points in a tie game!  Greedy, greedy, bastages!  Those 2 reason, in my opinion, are the reasons we lost this game.

So, with 2 minutes left in the game, Trestman decides to pull Cutler and put McCown in.  He takes us down the field for a TD to make the score 21-19.  The Bears go for the 2 point conversion but fail.....but, wait!  Penalty on Detroit!  Re-try!  So, what do we do? We try to run the ball, which hadn't worked all game and......... FAIL!  The on-side kick also failed and that was the game!

On the defensive side. our defense FINALLY played well....or played better than they had! But, at the end of the day, it's a loss.......it's a loss to Detroit and it's a loss at home!  NOT GOOD!!

You're a boy, so this all makes sense.

I would probably not have skipped over it and maybe even be educated about some things if it wasn't in all caps.

I'm not trying to pick on you at all - I'm just explaining how my eyes + mind behave. (I will say that you do tend to emphasize a lot of individual words at times...no sweat though; I get it.)

Or when you win but the opponent was a team you want to do well out of moral support for your friends.

Also - I tend not to read anything with a lot of all caps either...I dunno why. My eyes just seem to want to ignore it (sorry Nick.)

Two things -
1 - I was quite impressed that Cutler started this game, even though he was supposed to be out for a month.

2 - The Bears coach is super creepy looking! He looks like he might be a red herring in a scary movie.
