From the Armchair: Oakland Raiders Week 12
So this game seemed to be a pretty good match up. The first half was a lot of field goals back and forth. I really thought that we should have won this game. I'm starting to get frustrated with what is going on in Oakland.
First. Can we possibly just stick with one quarterback for the entire year, I mean except if they are injured. You start Pryor at the beginning of the season, saying that you didn't expect to be "in it" this season, and are kind of looking to groom him to become a franchise quarterback. If that's the case, don't impede that process, because the back up had a good week. I can't imagine how that is messing with his head right now, and he may even be losing any confidence he gained this season. Other teams stick with their starter, and they end up coming around for the most part. Case in point, Kaepernick and RGIII, they haven't had the greatest season so far but they are still starting. I have nothing against McGloin, yes he is doing good, and they won one game with him and lost the next. I just think they need to keep working with Pryor to become a better more versatile quarterback. End of QB rant.
Next, we would have won this game, if Janikowski hadn't missed 2 field goals. These were ones that he would normally make easily, but he unfortunately is struggling with an injury.
I like the way Rashad Jennings is playing. He may end up the starter after all this, just because he has been way more productive than McFadden.
That is all for now, next up we are in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day! Let's hope we can beat those damn Cowboys!
