Boldin Now that's more like it.

The 49ers went into St. Louis on Thursday night and performed as advertised.

The 49er running game got going for the first time this season putting up 229 yards on the ground, (153 by Frank Gore) . The 49ers rushed for 3 touchdowns and Colin Kaepernick threw TD passes to Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis to lead a balanced attack the demolished the Rams 35-11.

On the other side of the ball the 49ers surrendered a total of 188 yards to the Rams offense, sacking Sam Bradford 4 times and forcing 2 turnovers to a team that is much improved from a year ago. The Rams also had the 49ers number last year beating them in St. Louis and forcing a tie in San Francisco, this year, not so much. After 2 straight losses the 49ers return to form to even their record at 2-2.

Next up, the Houston Chokers Texans (2-2) , who blew a victory at home against the Seattle Seahawks, just for that debacle they will be in store for an old fashioned Niner beatdown.

If the 49ers continue to play the way they did against the St. Louis Rams, I can see a lengthy winning streak coming up for the 49ers and the analyst will jump right back on the 49ers bandwagon after all the talks about the seahawks dominating the NFC...
