Willis The 49ers offense decided to show up on Sunday in a gritty victory over the Arizona Cardinals 32-20. Vernon Davis had a career type day hauling in 8 receptions for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns. Frank Gore compiled 101 yards on the ground. The Cardinals put up a great fight through 2 1/2 quarters of the game only trailing by 2 late in the 3rd.

Then the Niners put the game away with their best drive of the season, 18 plays, 89 yards while chewing up 9 1/2 minutes of clock time. The drive started late in the 3rd quarter and when Kendall Hunter rushed into the endzone to put the 49ers up 29-20 there was only 7 minutes left in the ball game. Colin Kaepernick looked solid after taking some heat here in the Bay Area for recent lackluster play. He finished the game going 16-29 for 252 yards, 2 TD's. 1 int.

It looks as if San Francisco has found the consistent play that eluded them last 3 games and will look to go 5-2 after this weekend game against the Titans. Then it's on to London to play the Jaguars before heading into the bye week in week 9.
