From The Armchair: Houston Texans - Week 3
Well, we were beating the snot out of them until the pick-6. The game was all Ravens after that. But it wasn't just offense blowing hard. The Texans set a record with 14 penalties for 113 yards. A dubious honor. The good news is, Randy Bullock had a great game compared to the previous two. He went into the game being 1-5 in FG attempts and went 3-for-3, scoring all of the points.
I am really worried about Andre Johnson. He got knee capped in one play and was tender on it the rest of the game until he eventually was sat down because his injury caused him to not be set before a snap. Getting knee-capped hurts a lot. I had that happen to me before in tickle fights and they are a real buzzkill.
I see that we really aren't a lot different from the team we were the past few years. We get ourselves into way too many 3rd and long situations and never. try. Teams who fight to get the 13 yards are trying to win. We concede with a stupid draw play every time. EVERY time. Everyone sees it coming, coach. Not that it matters at all, cause hey, you're only gonna get 4 yards, or sometimes we even push ourselves further back because it's so. damn. predictable. So stop not trying. Jesus.
I don't have a whole lot to say. I am still sick to my stomach because none of my rally equipment worked and it makes me feel like maybe none of it carried any weight of our 11-0 start last year. Maybe none of it matters at all.
Nah of course it matters. I ain't stupid.
