From the Armchair: Washington Redskins Week 10
I am not sure how many times I can say "they lost" and make it interesting. I am ok with the loss. The ranting, gnashing of and heartbreak are just a smoldering deep in my soul.
I am not the only fan dealing with this. I know, I watch other teams and "coach" those teams too. It doesn't make me feel any better, unless of course the opposing team is one I dislike. I may not like a team because of their uniform color, player, or QB. I'm like that, as I am sure many others are.
I have to give kudos to the Vikings. They have Adrian Petersen....and, well, that's the only guy I know. He is all they need apparently, because they beat the Redskins, hands down. I can not even use the excuse of "injured" players. All them suckers are healthy. They just can't play football very well. I know, they really played their hearts out last week. I was proud of almost everything. Yeah, the loss kinda took the wind out of my sails. So, I instead turn to the ever elusive "next year". Just wait til then.
Next week the Redskins travel to Philly to take on the Eagles. Divisional games are always great!
