From the Armchair: Washington Redskins Week 11

11/18/13 in NFL   |   JenX63   |   32615 respect

Look at that poor man! He's aged (so so). This is what
the Redskins do to Coaches. The game was soooo
bad, FOX switched over to the Bees & Lions game.

64 yd TD with a successful 2 point conversion and
minutes later a 41 yd. TD with another succesful 2
point conversion.

Too bad that all happened in the 4th
quarter. Too bad a last ditched attempt came off Griffins shoe and was intercepted.

You are welcome Eagles! Whatever anyone says about your team, you sure showed the Redskins.

I love this team and as much as I wanted to turn off the game, I just couldn't. What a train wreck. Hopes are dashed, folks are whispering Shanahan is done in DC, Trent Williams says a ref called him a "fat a** garbage" (that doesn't even make any sense) I think someone is looking for some attention (and not the right kind) or not, I really don't know and will keep an eye out for more (maybe) .

Next week:  Skins host the SF 49'rs. (they lost too)

He is an egotistical arrogant fk which the game has long passed by. And as far as his dumb fk son a self-proclaimed offensive guru with his "east coast offense" bulls--t is just as arrogant as his fkn daddy. Where is that fkn offensive genius now , last season it all fell their way and RG3 was catching teams off guard and Morris broke out , now that its time to adapt and make adjustments where is that offensive guru !

I cant stand either of em.

mmhmm mmmhhmmm, see, i was on that side of the fence. Then some folks told me I was "lucky" to have them. Then some good stuff happened and I was told "told u so"...i've been told I am a bit harsh when it comes to the whole Redskins orginazation. I just don't walk around with blinders on. I thought it was a mistake to bring back Gibbs (as much as i love him) his time was done, and i disliked Zorn a lot. Spurrier and Schottenheimer were  god awful. A new coach is a great idea, but who is left, that is decent or good or fantastic? I hate the thought of a "college coach" coaching them again.

It's kind of strange to me that some folks in Houston have brought up Baby Shan as a potential replacement for Gary Kubiak.  He was the OC here before Kubiak let him out of his contract so he could go work for his dad, and the offense was more productive/explosive/whatever back then.  Just don't see the sense in making that move now, though, considering Washington really isn't much better than the Texans.  Maybe the offensive system these guys all use really has been figured out by defensive coordinators around the league???

I'm "c'est la vie" when it comes to Shanahan and/or his son. He/they certainly are not the worse  they have had in DC and maybe/prolly not the best. There seems to be some in fighting going on that is only trickling out. I know once the implosion begins there is no stopping it.
Lol Ash, Shanahan hasn't been there that long. the ting is, what is different this year? Besides Griffin getting hurt, they have the same players as last year. There really is no excuse for the poor a** games I have seen.

Well i originally had 17 years cause that's what it feels like. He's awful, and def not the coach griffin et al. need. Plus, nepotism doesn't pay unless you're King or something. Off with their heads!

p.s. i should read all of the post before replying.. I rarely do. Coaching, coordinating, etc has a lot to do with player play and execution. He hurts them (and the rest of the staff helps), much like Kubiak does, and Garrett, and Wade Phillips for a time... some aren't meant to lead, esp for 27 years :)

Shanahan should've been done 7 years ago.

The good news is he'll have Gary Kubiak to keep him company in the unemployment line.  wink

It's something to talk about. Everyone knows how Snider is. If he goes he goes if not, well that's ok too. Basically, how many times can you point fingers and innuendos at whose fault it is exactly that they aren't winning. Obviously the other teams are playing better, having less penalities, turnovers and their receivers are catching the dang ball (that one really blows my mind)
Don't think either one would be standing there for very long... smiley
