From the Armchair: Washington Redskins Week 15

Shanahan had a choice: Go for 1 and tie the game sending it into overtime or Go for 2 and win. If you are anything but a Skins fan, you understand his logic for going for 2. Funny how fans of other teams love to point out the obvious.

I'm a Skins fan forever and I won't stoop or take the bait.Shanahan did the right thing. He ended the game, "going for broke"! I loved it!

Whether or not he's back, we will soon know. I can't imagine why he would stay or why Snyder won't pay the 7 mil to get rid of him. Kyle has tried to make his case in the press (boo for him, butt kisser) I don't think he will be back either, and if there are teams out there looking at him, TURN and run the other way.

For the most part, the Skins played well, they just have a hard time closing regardless of who the quarterback is. Two more games and I will get up from this chair and wait for spring, when racing is back. There's always next year never seemed more true.

The Skins host the Cowboys next week. For them, a very important game; for us, a chance to dash their hopes yet again. Divisional games are always great!

Hai.

I talked to about 20 Falcons fans who wanted the Skins to win so the Falcons would have a better draft position.

Oh, I'm sure :/.

(i just read this, sorry. i have a habit of reading Jen but never who(m) she's replying to) Only option if you are sending a big FU to your owner, yes. If you want to win, there was another option. 'sall I'm sayin'.       I find y'all so funny. I know your team is bad but the Falcons are an equal mess. Even with 7 TO's, they still had the game won. Atlanta screwed up at just about every turn in the second half. We're awful . God, I love us.

Oh haiii.

We need to send super good vibes to your team this week. I mean like crazy witchy stuff.

Yes, but did anyone really want more of that game? Shanny did us all a favor.

I didn't mind it. AND, according to some, he lost on purpose, hating on our draft positioning. That jerk. :/

disclaimer: Idc about draft positioning, I want the win, but it did kinda look like they were trying to lose sometimes these last 2 games. I really think that's more of a "they can't be this awful, can they?" situation. The answer is yes.

No. I got it. I was just pointing out that you were wrong....and I mean that in the loveliest way .

Shanahan hasn't been trying to help this team since last year when he kept Griffin in after his injury in that playoff game.

I'm going to state the obvious. He did the wrong thing. Had he simply tied the game, he would have won in OT. It wasn't that hard to figure out. The defense worked their butts off (enough, at least) to keep us from doing much of anything in the second half. Redskins clearly, CLEARLY, had the momentum. He basically said I don't trust you at all defense, though You're the reason we were even still in this game. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, I suppose but he makes sh** decisions. He lost this game. He's probably not joining Kubes at the Circle K, but he should. :/

Oh, and I love love love that I'm sitting here reading intelligent game analysis by two opposing team's fans. Nevermind the fact that they're female. FanIQ blows every other sports forum out of the water.

you know I love you, but you are wrong. He made the right choice as I stated. There was no way the Skins were going to win this in regular time, straight time, overtime or ever time. Heck I don't trust the defense after the 3rd quarter. Them Flacons looked pretty good to me, seems they should have a better record.

:| Your last statement kills all of the rest. They looked pitiful per always. :/ We have no secondary. They figured it out (took a while, though). They would have won, I promise.

p.s. record-wise, Jackson, White, Spoooon just arrived to play last week, and with no Julio, no Kroy, no defense in general, the record makes sense a lot of sense. sadly.
