Much like the Southwest Airlines commercial where the guy throws a strike into his buddy's flat screen, I can get enough of this video of some young boys playing baseball wii with the remote bat.

I'm sure a few of you picked up the Wii this Christmas, so if you're considering the bat accessories see if it comes with some pine tar as well.

It looks like the kid in the background is wearing a Roethlisberger jersey, so it's safe to say that they had it coming.

But in all seriousness, I have mixed feelings about the Wii.

I have one of my own, and I love it. The gameplay is more like playing the actual games, and that's cool. And it's a little more active, which could only be a good thing for the health of America's increasingly fatter children.

BUT...aren't video games designed so you can do things that you wouldn't normally do inside? Like...playing football, baseball, shooting people, etc. So having the games become increasingly more like the real life actions...isn't that starting to defeat the purpose?

1	Replying to Pat - I had this very same argument with one of my friends before Christmas. He thought that we were silly for buying a PS3 rather than a Wii, and kind of made me feel that the reason I prefered the Sony was because I didn't want to get off my butt. I said - when I want to play active games, I go outside and play them.
