Game On! Sports Lineup 9/26/13

Do the Rams still have the Niners' number? [Live Sports Thread and Blog Recap]

9/26/13 in NFL   |   Jess   |   34638 respect

Greetings, sports fans! It's that time of the week again - football! There are only 9 MLB games tonight, not a whole lot of soccer left to play for the day, and not a lot else going on - but we have NFL and NCAAF! During the football season, every day there is a lot going on in the NFL and today is no different. The Lions are looking to trade for a wide receiver.....the Giants are relying way too much on Eli Manning.....Tony Romo is actually considered a potential threat.....Ted Ginn Jr. is fitting in just fine with his new team.....with Week 4 starting tonight, we've got some picks and predictions.....and my personal favorite weekly segment, the F-U Power Rankings!.....and speaking of picks, we've got the NCAAF Week 5 predictions right here....and speaking of Power Rankings, we've got those for the NCAAF too.....could the Stanford Cardinal really finish the season undefeated?.....not to neglect baseball - apparently the Braves are being naughty...again.

My Pick - I'm probably wrong, but the Rams are at home, the Niners were unable to beat them in either of last season's games, the Niners have a lot of injuries that have wiped out Kaepernick's arsenal...I'm going with the Rams tonight.

3rd straight embarrassing performance for the Rams.  They are well on their way back to being the laughingstock of the NFC

I may have to change my preseason pick for the Rams record.  They might have trouble getting to 4 wins

Looks like the mojo that Jeff Fisher brought to the Rams last year is long gone.  This team just does not do anything good right now.

Rams definitely have a better shot at home but quite honestly, I've seen very little since week 1 that this team is progressing enough to beat an injury depleted team like the 49ers.  The 49ers were embarrassed by the Colts in week 3 and they are going to have a huge ax to grind seeing as they were unable to beat the Rams last season.  Jeff Fisher's team has to have a better start and they have to find a way to stop the run and force Kaepernick to beat them with his arm, something the 49er quarterback has yet to do since week 1
