T-Mac And I Pay The Same Amount To Fill Up Our Rides. His Is Slightly Nicer.

If you're like me, and live out in California, then even filling up with regular unleaded is a nightmare. In a number of spots here in California unleaded now goes for $4 or more. Plus I live in San Francisco, which is the most expensive place to buy gas in the country.

And even though I'm a multi-millionaire blogger, it's rough on my wallet. I won't lie. I often run 20 miles to work through the snow - in shorts. That's how tough.

But I'm not the only one who's hurting. Pro athletes, those poor souls, are also dropping money left and right on gas. Thanks to Busted Coverage, we have an idea for how much they're dropping per fill-up. Busted Coverage used $3.79 as a baseline gas price, so if you live where I do, add $763 to the final total.

Orpheus Roye (12/17) : 2007 Maybach 57, 29.1 g.=$110.29

Tracy McGrady (10/16) : 2002 Ferrari Spyder 360 Modena F1, 21g.=$79.59

Dion Grant (11/18) : 2008 Mercedes CL63, 23.8 g.=$90.20

Dan Wheldon (<10) : (Year Unavailable) Hummer H2, 32g.=$121.28

Jamar Fletcher (11/18) : 2005 Bentley GT Continental, 23.8=$90.02

That's pretty damn expensive for most of those vehicles. Of course, these guys earn a bit more than the average person. Except for John Daly, I have no idea how he's going to pay for that beast.

But there is one mammoth vehicle Busted Coverage forgot to cover. And that's the suped-up Ford F650 SuperTruck. A couple of athletes ride this behemoth, including Chris McAllister and Jon Lieber. Here's a picture of McAllister with his F650.
