Mandatory Credit: Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY SportsGeorge Karl has been fired by the Denver Nuggets, despite winning the Coach of the Year award this year and not having a losing season since 1988.

The Nuggets have apparently decided to go in a different direction, and declined Karl's requests for a contract extension.

The Nuggets were 57-25 this year, their best record since the 1975-76 season and the best in 9 years under Karl.

Do you think this was a wise move by the Nuggets? Or should they have stuck with Karl for a little longer?
