Merry Mitchell Report morning everyone! I'm circling the Christmas tree admiring all my presents, but unfortunately I can't wake my parents up for a few more hours. The anticipation is overwhelming and several juicing rumors are leaking out through the wrapping paper. But first, a little 'Twas the night before
'Twas the night before the Mitchell Report, when all through the houseOK, now to the rumors going public this morning.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

Bob Klapisch reports that several prominent New York Yankees will be named:
"Regardless of where the pendulum rests, this will be a sea-change moment in baseball history, particularly in New York. According to one industry official, "several" prominent Yankees will be named by Mitchell in his 2 p.m. news conference in Manhattan. The official, who spoke to a third party who'd seen the final report, predicted, "It's going to be a rough day in the Bronx" after the identities are made public."Well, we know Jason Giambi will be on the list, but how about Roger Clemens? Speculation is that he'll be there, too, along with a few others. A source close to ESPN says Clemens' training obtained steroids (and off we go!):
"A former trainer, Brian McNamee, who worked as a personal trainer for the Yankees, told investigators that he obtained steroids for Roger Clemens and at one point, had steroids in his possession from another supplier, according to ESPN The Magazine’s Shaun Assael."From Fox Sports the Mitchell Report will name several MVPs and All-Stars:
"The Mitchell Report exposes a "serious drug culture within baseball, from top to bottom," fingers MVPs and All-Stars and calls for beefed-up testing by an outside agency to clean up the game, The Associated Press learned Wednesday."What a crazy and fine day this might become. Plenty more as the day unfolds and of course, we'll have a live thread up around 1 ET.
