Former Georgia Bulldog commit Derrick Henry will announce his final decision to where he will spend his collegiate career next month, reports Kristen Ledlow of Scout.Blog Photo - Georgia Football: Former Bulldog Commit Derrick Henry Ready to Make Final Decision

"I will make my commitment to Alabama, Georgia or Tennessee," the 5-star running back said.

Henry re-opened his recruiting on June 13, where he stated that "I want to be 100 percent sure I am making the best choice on where I go to college and to play football," and was interested in taking visits to Tuscaloosa.

Although the Crimson Tide already have two verbals for the class of 2013, the power-run offense and track record for putting running backs (among other positions) as high draft picks into the NFL has Henry intrigued.

Plus, based on his ridiculous junior statistics, I don't think competition frightens him: He took 309 carries for 2,567 yards (8.3 ypc) and 34 touchdowns in 2011.

Nick Saban looks to be on the verge of getting yet another extremely talented running back, but don't count Georgia and Tennessee out just yet.

Since his de-commitment, the Bulldogs have released sophomore tailback Isaiah Crowell for repeated violations of team rules. He was expected to start for at least the next two seasons, so this leaves an open void at the position.

Tennessee has a very young group of running backs that are all talented in at least one specific area. That said, however, none are up to par with Henry, and he could push for the starting job right away.

Henry's announcement will take place through a press conference at his high school (Yulee, Florida). The date has not yet been established.

Henry is listed as the No. 1 overall running back for his class, according to Rivals.
