Quite an awesome matchup tonight on Sunday Night Football with the Green Bay Packers going up against the Dallas Cowboys. Obviously, most of the focus tonight will be on Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo. Both quarterbacks have been mighty impressive this season, especially Rodgers, considering the kind of pressure he's been under. Also, because John Madden's doing this game, I'll put the over/under on Favre references tonight at 10. I'll go over.
This game seems likely to become a bit of a shootout seeing as neither team's defense has been incredibly impressive so far this season. A week ago the Packers were losing to the Lions before John Kitna went interception crazy and the Cowboys were lit up by Donovan McNabb who didn't exactly have his full receiving arsenal available.
Even though the Cowboys are on the road, they're still the favorite, and it looks like most of you agree.
73% of FanIQ believes the Cowboys will win this game. The experts, however, are less in the Cowboys camp, at only 57%
I'm actually going to split from FanIQ on this one and go with the experts, primarily because Rodgers is a former Cal product who I saw play multiple times in college and he looked very good against the Cowboys in Dallas last year when Favre got hurt. Rodgers is the real deal, and is proving it now on a weekly basis.
My prediction: Packers 34, Dallas 31.
Feel free to mock my prediction all you want and Q it up here with everyone.
