Party at the Clink [Monday Night Football Open Thread]
Green Bay (1-1) has already matched its loss total from last regular season, while Seattle comes in at 1-1 as well after an impressive thumping of Dallas last week. The Seahawks lost Week 1 at the undefeated Arizona Cardinals, while the Packers fell to San Francisco before beating the Bears last week.
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay's all-everything quarterback, is one of the NFL's many star quarterbacks who hasn't quite lived up to his billing so far this season. Today he should get a boost, as No. 1 wide receiver Greg Jennings, who was questionable, is supposed to be in the lineup.
After a mediocre first NFL game, Russell Wilson bounced back last week in the win over Dallas. The rookie from Wisconsin was a very efficient 15-for-20 for 151 yards and a touchdown.
Of course, Wilson's best friend tonight will be a good running game, which is Seattle's bread and butter, led by Marshawn Lynch. Seattle's best chance at victory comes if Rodgers and co. are left on the sidelines for as long possible, so expect the Seahawks to try and milk the clock behind Lynch.
Obviously, this is a big game for both teams, so join in the fun in the comments below, and if you want, head over to the Packers-Seahawks Sports Bar and predict the winner.
