Even though Greg Oden has yet to play a single minute in the NBA, he's already by far one of the league's most popular players. That could be because he hangs with midgets at the the Indy 500, or it could be because of his fondness for Superbad, or it could be because he named his dog Charles Barkley McLovin.

Either way, the man has a knack for appealing to people. Although, this video above might change that.

Oden apparently is involved with a mentoring program for the Blazers, which is great. His rendition of *NSYNC's "It's Gonna Be Me" from this past weekend, however, is anything but. But I do applaud the effort, even if my right ear drum popped while listening to it.

Oden might want to take some advice from new Patriots QB Matt Cassel on how to properly do karaoke. Below is Cassel at special teams coach Larry Izzo's annual charity event, singing, yep, you guessed it, "Tell Me Why" by the Backstreet Boys. Oh man, it's on!

I don't really understand why pro athletes would sing boy band songs, but what do I know. All I know is that we're all winners for having seen these videos. And by "winners," I mean "total fools."
