Highly touted AC Milan youngster Hachim Mastour has been called up by Max Allegri to train with the first team today.  Hachim is probably Milan's most anticipated youngster to come through the ranks since perhaps club legend Paolo Maldini.

Adriano Galliani purchased Hachim for a record fee of 850,000 euros.  An astronomical number indeed and especially for just a 14 year old at the time when purchased from Reggiana.

Hachim has been dubed by many to be the "Moroccan Messi".  If you were wondering being compared to the best player in the world is kind of a big deal and great honor.  He isn't able to play in Serie A just yet because you need to be 16 in order to debut.  So he is still another year away from being eligible to play.  But even then he might just be loaned out to gain some experience.  He was born in Italy which also makes him eligible to play for the National Team which is perhaps a good 6 years or so away.

His main position is the trequartista role which in Italian means "Centre Attacking Midfielder".  This is usually the best player on the pitch, he is a fantastic dribbler and is only getting better each and every day.  He can shoot the ball from a distance and in the penalty area.  He is a great passer with above average vision.  Once he bulks up this kid can be the best in the world some day.  Yea he's that freaking good.

Hopefully Milan don't rush him and allow him to gain some experience.  This kid is going to be great one day.  This is great news for Milan fans because this is the start of a what hopes to be a great and long career.
