After the loss of Matt Kemp, the Los Angeles Dodgers received a little bit of good news today: Hanley Ramirez could return as soon as Monday.
He suffered a broken thumb and an injured hammy, but after rehabbing, he seems to be doing well.
Tonight, he'll start with the Class-A Rancho Cucamonga team, and if all goes according to plan, Ramirez will be back to start the week off on a good note.
It wouldn't be surprising if they made him do a bit more rehab because Don Mattingly expressed particular concern about hamstring injuries earlier this season.
No word on if he'll be shuffled around with the other players in the immediate absence of Kemp once he returns, though Mattingly likely won't make him do anything that could re-strain his leg.
