The Penguins beat the Thrashers 3-2 in a shootout this afternoon. More importantly was who was guarding the net for Pittsburgh, Marc-Andre Fleury! That's right, Fleury is back, and a 1-2 punch of Fleury and Conklin is going to help this team tremendously in the final month of the season and into the playoffs. Bye-bye Danny Sabourin, you're clearly the odd man out in this mix. If this is any indication, Fleury went down about 2 weeks before Crosby if memory serves me correctly. Sooo, Sid should be back pretty soon, which gives the Pens that final piece of the puzzle for a huge run through the postseason. Oh by the way, this win over Atlanta today gives the Pens 81 points, which ties them with Montreal for the best record in the Eastern conference! Montreal wins the tiebreaker as of right now, but that doesn't matter for the time being, still a lot of regular season games left to play, and anything can (and will) happen. Watch out NHL, this black and gold train has been hanging around the front of the conference without the NHL's best player. They're about to get their engine back, and when he gets back on the ice, take cover!
BK over and out.
