Hexes and hints?

Yes, Sports fanatics are an odd sort.

We wear a jersey until it's changing color, won't step on the foul line walking to the mound, or give up that first card we bought oh so many years ago.

For me, it's the game, or rather, not the game.

Case in point, was the NBA game, between the Celtics and the Rockets.

Early on, the Celtics were down by about 8....nothing to notice, it was the second period.

I stopped watching, just to check out my online games, kill a few aliens.

Looked back, halftime...40-40.

Both teams were pretty even, pure and simple.

So I figured, well, it'll be a close match, I can imagine, at the end...similar to last night's nailbiter, that Horry almost did the deed...thank goodness he missed....I turned on a marathon of Dirty Jobs, and ignored the tv.

And the Celtics owned the Rockets, but 20 points, in the end.

Ouch.

Don't get me wrong...On a good day, 22-0, will walk you through the playoffs, and win a title, with a little to spare at the end.

However, they'll need to sit down, and look at the tape, to figure out where the Celtics owned them....and solve that riddle.
