After years and years of coming close but falling just short, Phoenix finally has its first basketball championship.

The Mercury won game 5 of the WNBA Finals over Bill Laimbeer's Detroit Shock, 108-92. Penny Taylor scored 30 points, while Diana Taurasi pitched in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

To the Suns: Match them. Please. I can't take another year without a championship.
