"Everyone has a game plan, until they get hit in the mouth."
If you don't appreciate watching Hines Ward play football, something is wrong. He's not your typical prima donna (although if you saw the manicure session on Countdown you might take issue with me) wide receiver just looking for flashing touchdown catches and celebration dances.
Hines decleated several Baltimore Ravens last night with bone crushing blocks and none was better than this hit on Ed Reed.
Willie Parker is alright too. And I wouldn't mind having Alan Faneca and Casey Hampton on my team either. And they've got a great backup QB...this kid from BC, Brian St. Pierre. But beyond that, you can take 'em.
Defense is alright. Just OK, though. I just wish their QB didn't suck so much. Unfortunately he can't throw the football and will never go to the Pro Bowl this year. He's terrible. Most overrated QB in the history of the world. Universe. In fact, all QBs in the NFL suck that don't play for New England. They're all horrible.
This guy is one of the few Steelers who I think are truly great. This guy is one of the most complete WR's in the league. Not the flashiest guy around, but he gets the job done in EVERY aspect of the game.

The whole team sucks. They do. Overrated. Can't win any games. It's all Hines Ward.

If winning super bowls = overrated ... then you what that means don't you?
To be fair, Bradshaw is pretty ridicilously over-rated. He threw as many INTs as TD"s and hardly had a 50% completion percentage. They won those Super Bowls thanks to absurdly good defenses, a great running game, solid o-line, and two very good WR's. Bradshaw was alright, but he certainly doesn't deserve as much credit as he gets.

TEAMS win Super Bowls. You know this. Bradshaw was a good QB. Nothing more, nothing less. If you're even trying to even insinuate anything about Brady, then man up and say what you feel. But there is no comparison whatsoever between Big Ben or Bradshaw and a guy like Brady. NONE.

It's called sarcasm. TEAMS do win super bowl and having a great leader at the helm makes all the difference. That's how the Pats win and thats how the Steelers have won.
Here's where I don't understand you guys and this "overrated" talk. I don't think Bradshaw actually gets that much attention as a tremendous QB. He's never even close to being in the greatest QB conversation. He's on TV a lot, sure. He was a good QB. Teams don't win that many super bowls with a marginal QB. Did he deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, of course? Football is about winning, and you win like that it's a hell of an accomplishment.

Well, just about everyone who played with the Steelers during the 70's is in the HOF, I suppose he should to.
To be fair, the most over-rated QB of all time is probably Joe Namath, but I digress.
Again ... overrated or in the media too much? Rarely do you hear anyone speak of how good he was.
Maybe if he wasn't on Fox I wouldn't notice it as much. It seems like whenever anyone seems to mention those Steelers team, he's usually the first guy they mention. Just an observation.
