I stumbled across this clip on YouTube, which I know nothing about, since it's for some German pro league teams I've never heard of. But fortunately Ball in Europe has details on this rather interesting occurrence during a fairly important basketball game.
This was a recent game in the German ProB league between the Kirchheim Knights and ETB Essen. Both teams are fighting to earn a spot to move up to the 2nd league in Germany, so the game was obviously critical. Essen decided to try a new tactic for their final inbounds pass with 2 seconds left. It's called "Put 6 men out on the court so one of them can get a much better look at the basket."
It worked surprisingly well, of course. I highly advise this play, if you can get away with it.
