Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward has his leg cut by a skate in game vs Blue Jackets. Yikes.

Cam Ward had his leg sliced open from Rick Nash's skate during the Hurricanes game vs the Blue Jackets. Nash's skate was caught between his knee and leg pad. Ward is currently in the hospital

1	I watched that game. Very scary situation! I hope Cam will be alright. They should put pads, all around EVERY goalies' legs

0	On NHL.com they mentioned that blood was dripping for him and that it appeared a skate cut neared his groin area. I was just like "oh s**t"

0	It wasn't near his groin. And there was blood pooled under him where he stayed kneeling. And it trailed all the way to the bench. But it was cleaned up and the dealy to the game was only about 3 minutes. And a Carolina player shoved Nash or his skate wouldn't have come close to Ward. Bummer for Ward. He's a great goalie.
