Between Matt Kemp and Hyun-Jin Ryu, the Dodgers are a pretty fan friendly group

Blog Photo - Hyun-Jin Ryu plays catch with fan

A week ago, we gave you Matt Kemp making a young fan's day by giving him damn near his entire uniform.

This week, it's pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu, playing catch with a young fan in the stands at Dodger Stadium.

Does it get any cooler than this?

On the flip side... between this and what Kemp did last week... is it really that difficult for the players? I wouldn't say it is. But it's a memory of a lifetime for the fans involved. More players should do stuff like this. I bet even crappy teams like the Marlins and Astros could see a few more fans if their players did stuff like this.

Matt Kemp just seems like one of those players that gets that he wouldn't be where he is and make the kind of $$$ that he does if there weren't any fans. I agree with you, it shouldn't be difficult for players to want to give back. I'm guessing though there are a ton of stories in your neck of the woods, just like in mine, about the local teams who give back to the community on what seems like a daily basis. The only difference is there isn't somebody uploading the video to youtube like there was in Kemp's and Ryu's case.

That is just adorable. Start that fan base early...

When your high priced team is as bad as the Dodgers, don't you have to go above and beyond to appease the fans?
