I Approve of the Orlando Magic's Commitment to Free Throw Distraction, Even If It Doesn't Work

Via Tom Ziller of the Fanhouse comes this inspiring story of the Orlando Magic's grand plan for opponent free throw distraction. One problem, it only seems to be working on press row.
Michael Grange of the Toronto's Globe and Mail was busily taking notes this weekend on the Magic dancers shaking their *gasp* ta-ta's while the Raptors were shooting free throws. How dare they.
There are risers behind the baskets at Amway with each row of seats about six inches above the next. This enables the Magic dancers to align themselves one after another in the aisle directly behind the backboard. As a result they appear to be directly in the line of sight for opposition free throw shooters. And one of the cheerleaders in particular did this little shaky thing with her torso just when guys were shooting, which I found very distracting, typppping wise. The Raptors shot 27-for-28, but hey, I say keep sticking with it. Hedo Turkoglu was inspired early on Sunday. It's clearly doing something right.
