Jose Mourinho’s tenuous relationship with Real Madrid and their president Florentino Perez is no longer a secret. It is believed that it is the fragile nature of this relationship that is set to become the reason behind Jose Mourinho’s exit from Real Madrid.
The Bernabeu boss has already admitted the possibility of his departure from Real Madrid at the end of the season. Jose Mourinho has also declared that his next job is likely to be in England, which further indicates towards a summer exit.
In spite of widespread rumors pointing towards a summer move away, Jose Mourinho claims he hasn’t put his signature on any agreement suggesting he is going to leave Real Madrid.
The Portuguese manager labeled such reports and nonsense and confirmed he had no exit agreement with Real Madrid.
“I have no agreement with Real Madrid to go. I have signed nothing, that's a nonsense,” Jose Mourinho told RTP. “The criticism? Nothing affects me, nothing bothers me. I do not go crazy nor do I get depressed. Nothing motivates me more than my own motivation.”
Jose Mourinho has been hesitant to talk about his future in front of media, but the former Chelsea manager admitted he was going to stay focused on managing the top clubs in England, France, Italy and Spain.
“My future? I am not training outside of Spain, England, Italy or France,” Jose Mourinho added.
Jose Mourinho refused to attend the 2012 FIFA Ballon d’Or ceremony. The Portuguese tactician, who was nominated for the 2012 FIFA Ballon d'Or Coach of the Year award, was full of criticism about FIFA and the voting policy.
“I don't regret not attending the gala at all,” Jose Mourinho said.
“One, two or three people phoned me to tell me that they had voted for me and later, when the list of votes was published, another name appeared by their votes. That was why I decided not to go to the gala.
“I'm accusing FIFA of irregularities in the vote for best manager in the world. There was a lack of transparency. FIFA was aware of these irregularities, knowing they were there, but did nothing to avoid them.”
