Jerry Gaul of Philly.com is the first one who figured this out. Apparently Apple's "Siri" app believes that Philadelphia Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov is The Universe.I didn't believe it at first, so I checked it for myself. As you can see, it's legit.
Someone at Apple must have seen this interview on HBO's 24/7 show:
This isn't the only question that ends up with a Bryzgalov result.
If you ask who is "The Universe" or "Mr. Universe," you'll also come up with an answer of Ilya Bryzgalov.
This might create some confusion for body building fans, or people who are interested in the 1951 film by the same title starring Jack Carson and Vince Edwards, or even people looking for a Jim Gaffigan stand-up comedy special.
Either way, this is a pretty awesome little trick by someone at the Apple factory. Well played, Apple. Since no one knows the exact age of the universe anyway, I'll go with 32 years old. That works for me.
