Hoosiers coach Kevin Wilson has suspended three players including veteran receiver Kofi Hughes for one game, another player was kicked off the team, three have left the program and one has not yet reported to camp, reports Terry Hutchens of IndyStar.com.
Of the three that left the team are safety Shaquille Jefferson and receiver Logan Young, who will "pursue other opportunities," while it was receiver Jay McCants was dismissed.
This is not exactly what developing dual-threat quarterback Tre Roberson needs at this point, as he watches the depth at wide receiver diminish. Indiana ranked 80th in the passing game last season and will need to improve on that to win more than one game in 2012.
