All right everyone, here's your Indy 500 live thread. I'm not exactly sure what we're going to chat about "Man, Danica's last lap was wicked fast!" but we'll make it up as we go along.

Scott Dixon is the favorite to win by a hair's breath over Dan Wheldon. Others with decent odds to win include Danica, Dance Machine Helio Castroneves, and Tony Kanaan.

By the way, Gearhead is at the race, so he'll have something interesting for us all about the boozing in the infield. That is if he can remember it.

Enjoy the race. And remember, on the day of the Indy 500, milk is never a bad choice.

Wow! Lots of "incidents" so far! Some of the so called rookie favs out of the race.  Marco (not a rookie) on the move tho!  Great race so far

Okay, I'm changing subject....just flipped over to NASCAR Raceday and saw Jimmy Spencer, Hermie Sadler AND Kenny Wallace tell Denny Hamlin to quit whining!

 

Okay back to Indy, 30 laps to go, under caution.  i wonder if Helio and Julianne Hough will dance in Victory Lane, or maybe across the bricks if he wins?

Of course, internet crashed with five laps to go, and now that the CC 600 is 20 laps in, it is working again.......
