The "Angry Iowa Running Back Hating God," also known as "AIRBGH," struck again as yet another Hawkeye tailback fell to injury.Blog Photo - Iowa Football: Barkley Hill Next Hawkeye RB to Go Down

Freshman Barkley Hill suffered a torn ACL during Saturday's practice and will require reconstructive surgery, reports Adi Joseph of USA Today.

AIRBGH has never been friendly to the Iowa backfield, but this offseason has been more vicious than most: Marcus Coker was dismissed from the team in January; Mika'il McCall transferred to Southern Illinois; Jordan Canzeri tore his ACL in March; De'Andre Johnson was dismissed for legal troubles; freshman Greg Garmon is facing marijuana charges.

This angry football God is not a forgiving one. And it's relentless.

Over the last three seasons, 10 Iowa running backs have left the team on their own, been dismissed or torn an ACL.

Sophomore Damon Bullock may be handed the starting position now, as he's the only player on the Hawkeye roster to have taken a handoff in live action—he took 10 carries for 20 yards in 2011.

JUCO transfer Andre Dawson is the only other listed running back on Iowa's roster, while freshman Nate Meier is a RB/LB on the school website.
